At the Apple Event last month, the iPhone 13 family, a new iPad mini, the Apple Watch series 7, and the ninth-generation iPad were rolled out. It’s speculated that Apple is going to host an event this month as well to launch the new MacBook Pro models, a redesigned Mac mini, and third-generation AirPods.
When will the Apple Event be held?
Apple has traditionally held its October event on a Tuesday, with the press invited a week in advance. Apple has today announced it will instead take place next Monday, the 18th, at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time. The event is set to take place at the Steve Jobs Theater on the Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California, and it will once again be a digital only event.

What will be released at the Apple Event?
• 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros
The new Macs have always been the highlight of the event. It’s said that the displays of new MacBook Pros are enlarged with a flat-edged screen design and will be mini-LED, the same display technology on the 12.9-inch iPad Pro. In spite of the chip shortage, new MacBook Pros will be equipped with the M1X processor and additional GPU cores. Rumor has it that Touch Bar will be removed and the MagSafe charger will return.
• Mac mini
Last year Apple released a new Mac mini with an M1 chip that looked the same as previous models. This October, a more powerful Mac mini with an M1X processor is likely to come out with a plexiglass-like top and four Thunderbolt ports. However, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman says the new Mac mini with an M1X processor will arrive “at some point” after the launch of the new MacBook Pro. So, the release of new Mac mini could be delayed till 2022.
• AirPods 3
It was expected that the third-generation AirPods would come out at last month’s Apple Event — but it didn’t. Many are looking forward to AirPods 3 since little significant changes have been made ever since their release in 2016. Reports suggest the AirPods 3 will have similar built-in features to the AirPods Pro, including spatial audio support, a shorter stem, interchangeable tips and a smaller charging case.
• MacOS Monterey
MacOS Monterey was unveiled at the 2021 Worldwide Developers Conference on June 7. This new operating system has many exciting new features including Universal Control, Share Play, Safari revamp, live text and more. At the Apple Event last month, Apple said macOS Monterey would come later this fall. There is hope that it will come with the new MacBook Pro models in October. Apple Watch Series 7
And lastly — the Apple Watch Series 7 released at the Apple Event last month is going to be available from October 15th. The new Apple Watch has a display nearly 20% larger than Series 6. The starting price is $399.
The newly released M1 Pro & M1 Max are incredible fast. Intel might suffered a very diffcult time in the following several years.
